Bio of Ms. Hala Tayeb
Ms. Hala Tayeb is an autism advocate based in Jeddah and the voice behind @the.autism.journey on Instagram. Her journey into advocacy began after her son’s autism diagnosis — a rough and emotional path that she is still learning to navigate. She immersed herself in learning about autism and ABA, seeking answers, support, and understanding.
What started as a personal outlet became a powerful platform for healing, growth, and awareness. Talking openly about their journey helped her family grow and connect with others going through similar challenges. Hala is deeply committed to helping parents not only access the right support but also adjust to and accept the diagnosis — even though that process looks different for every family.
She believes autism affects the whole family — including siblings — and works to ensure each child receives the attention and care they need. Her mission is to raise awareness, encourage acceptance, and help parents stay on the right track, even when the path feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Through empathy, honesty, and community, Hala reminds families: you don’t have to go through this alone.
